ROBERT'S KARAOKE CORNER

I use a number of different programs to record, edit and play and publish Karaoke songs.

The first one is Wav Creator from www.blazeaudio.com which I use to record myself
reciting poetry or singing along to karaoke songs. Wave files are very large like 50 MB
for 5 minutes but there are certain tools you can use to enhance the recording, like adding
echo and fading in and out to get the song prepared to be converted to an MP3 file.

The next program I use is a Wav to MP3 converter from www.imtoo.com The MP3 files
are 1/10th the size of a wave file but once it is converted from a wave file it cannot be edited.

I play karaoke songs on my PC with a program called Power CD+G Player Pro which I got from
http://www.powerkaraoke.com/. This company also supplies a program named Power CD+G
Burner. I use the Burner to print karaoke CDG files to disc. I get the songs to burn to disc from
http://www.buykaraokedownloads.com/
Most of these songs I have purchased for .99 cents and
$1.50 tax included and they all have words and music.

I have also purchased different sound cards for both my laptop and desktop computer from
Creative
Labs/SoundBlaster that allows me to connect a Karaoke disc player with a microphone
interface to and through my computer so I can have better control over the recording mic
echo level. The soundcard I got for my desktop was called
the Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro
and the USB sound card that I just purchased for my laptop is called Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1.

I purchased a karaoke disc player and a 500 watt stereo mixing amp from Ace Karaoke, visit http://www.acekaraoke.com for more info on Karaoke equipment.
I recommend that you check www.loudkaraoke.com out also.

Karaoke has opened up a new world of fun, entertainment and social interaction for me which helps
to make my life more fulfilling. If you are interested or have any questions please contact me at
