BUDDHA

It is a first for me in history

that this day I would celebrate,

For it now comes to my eyes that one so wise

had his birth upon this date.

The Enlightened one brings to my mind

the Wisdom of the Ages,

For Gautama dear brings compassion here

and God Understanding of the Sages.

The simple "Eight Fold Path" he did Meditate upon,

The cornerstone of Understanding and Illuminations dawn.

To have "RIGHT VIEWS"

and "RIGHT LIVELIHOOD"

so to God Wisdom cultivate,

"RIGHT EFFORT"

and "RIGHT THINKING"

for the Higher Ideals to demonstrate.

"RIGHT CONCENTRATION"

our Free Will focus in true and proper direction,

to merge the Spirit with the Soul and manifest perfection.

"RIGHT SPEECH"

based on awareness on the Laws of Spoken Word,

For as it goth forth, its return is well assured.

"RIGHT ACTION"

in the doing of deeds based on what's best for more than one,

The Universal Teaching of a true reflecting Father's Son.

"RIGHT CONTEMPLATION"

or mindfulness, all things in consideration,

Holding firm the blessed vision

of one Humanity, and one Nation.

To bridge all gaps and false beliefs,

all dogma and superstition.

To show the way to all our brethren

to make a smooth transition.

The world in need for many plead

to be released from mortal bonds,

The Wisdom of Buddha and the Saints,

on this meditate upon.

Understand the "TRUTH OF SUFFERING",

and the "TRUTH OF SUFFERINGS CAUSE"

Understanding is found within the contemplation

of God's Universal Laws.

Now the "CESSATION OF SUFFERING"

and the "TRUTH" of that thereof,

By walking the "NOBLE EIGHT FOLD PATH",

from all desires you raise above.

You find the "TRUTH OF CESSATION"

of unneeded sufferings cause,

You find the "TRUTH" within yourself

and free the SELF of ego flaws.

So remember always these 'Eight Simple Things"

of which Beloved Buddha has spoken,

He has gone through many trials and tribulations

and his "EIGHT FOLD PATH" is his "Loving Token".
